Creating Environments for

Business Success

One of the throughlines in my work, whether it is as co-host of the Entrepreneurially Thinking podcast, a consultant for the St. Louis Equity in Entrepreneurship Collective or lead business coach for the St. Louis Regional Chamber’s Diverse Business Accelerator Program, is a commitment to advance racial and gender equity in entrepreneurship. The goal is to create a state in which a founder’s or business owner’s capacity to secure contracts, raise capital, recruit talent or scale their venture is no longer predictable by race or gender.

My work with individual entrepreneurs, business owners, leadership teams, entrepreneur support organizations, and economic development agencies is intended to expand and redistribute knowledge, increase access to networks and expand access to capital and resources to traditionally under-represented and underestimated businesses.

I’ve helped facilitate and design

Racial and gender equity in entrepreneurship training programs to help individuals and organizations increase their capacity to create anti-racist, anti-biased institutions and programs.

Please join me at the Interise 2020 SolveIt! Inclusive Economy Conference March 9-11, 2020 where I will be engaging economic development practitioners in the exploration of an entrepreneur development approach to cultivating a robust regional small business pipeline.
